"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."
My 16 year old daughter asked me today if I would buy her some high-waisted shorts. I said, "Why? I mean, I know they're in style, but they look good on NO ONE." She gave me the evil eye and said, "I just want them, Mom. JEEZ! :::hair flip, eye roll:::."
So...yeah. She'll pair those bitches with a crop top and I'll be back in 1992.

It's been a nationwide Kelly Kapowski look-alike contest for a couple years now though, hasn't it? Neons, highwaisted shorts, crop tops, bandeau tops, crazy florals, etc. I think neons started two years ago, but last summer was big on the 90s trends.

I've been hearing from you guys that whippersnappers these days are dressing like it's the 90s again but I honestly haven't noticed this at all. I need to pay more attention.
Ugh. I can't stand the high waisted short shorts. They were everywhere last summer and I'm seeing them pop up again. Is it really necessary to emulate every decade fashion trend?

I saw a girl at H&M the other day in baggy print overalls with one strap down and felt like I was flashing back to junior high in the 80s. The same day I passed a woman wearing a shorts jumpsuit, which I don't think I've ever seen IRL on anyone over the age of 5.

Sadly, I actually like the shorts jumpsuits. I'm glad I'm pregnant so I can spare myself another round of fashion faux pas
If I see kids in my area dressing like characters from Clueless and My So-Called Life I will be all over that! Bring on the slipdresses with t-shirts and the chunky heels!

My mom said this exact same thing to me about bell bottoms fifteen years ago.
Flannel, doc martins, and overalls are definitely in. Add crop tops, neon and ugly floral patterns to the mix. It's weird and nostalgic while shopping now.
