They opened an extremely nice Japanese steakhouse here... And it's all you can eat. I probably consumed 60 pieces of red and white sashimi, every type of sushi possible, and crab legs. I cannot move.
All you can eat sushi for $16? Watch out for symptoms of dying.
It's actually a really reputable place. All of their fish comes fresh from the same place that delivers to my other 2 favorite sushi restaurants. I've eaten there 4 times now, lol.

Before I got pregnant we went to AYCE sushi once a week. H has become friendly with the chefs because we sit at the bar. It is a lot of fun. We cut back significantly when I was pregnant, but still went occasionally.
i live in an area with access to good, fresh sushi that's fairly affordable. and even then, $16 ayce doesn't sound like it'd be very good.
I forgot to add tuna. A roll around here at any restaurant is around $4. I don't see anyone eating more than 4 rolls alone.
i'm even more confused now. what kind of sashimi is salmon, then? orange? orange & white if it's nicely marbled? if you can't eat more than 4 rolls at $4 apiece anyway, then why gorge on likely lesser quality rolls for $16?
and by rolls, do you mean like a salmon or tuna roll, or those behemoths with eleventy billion things inside and another eventy billion on top? (don't worry, i'm not *that* much of a snob...i eat both). because they are quite different price points, usually.
also, i'm not as concerned as others about the food safety issues. i'm primarily concerned and sad about bad quality/tasting sushi. and this is from someone who used to frequent ayce sushi.
