Or just eggs? As a kid our baskets were always placed in the same spot (not hidden) and we hunted for eggs. DH says his basket was always hidden and I noticed matildasun said the same thing in the basket thread. I'm curious what everyone does.
The bunny also left footprints in baby powder and black jelly bean 'poop'. We left out a carrot snack for the bunny. I think my mom was the original Pinterest!!

We hide the baskets. We don't hide eggs at our house but we go to an egg hunt. We buy plastic eggs and the kids often make up their own informal hunts for each other. Growing up we did not hide baskets but they did at my friends' houses and I wished we did.
It's not totally hidden, but her basket is not in obvious view. I found these cool "hard to find" eggs for an indoor Easter egg hunt (they have strings to hang them, suction cups on them, flat bottoms for standing up and command strips to affix anywhere). The Easter bunny left a trail of the eggs from her bedroom to her basket.
I don't have any children old enough for finding Easter baskets, but my mom always hid ours. The one that I remember most was when she hid mine in the washer!
My parents always hid ours. My wife's family does presents as a scavenger hunt (picture clues for little kids, riddle clues for older kids) so we'll do that for our kids when they get older. At 7weeks old theyre just sitting on the couch with their cousins' baskets.
As I said it the other thread, my mom always hid our baskets. As we got older the hiding places got really tricky. She loves going all out for holidays.

Yep! My mom too. I look forward to hiding DS's basket once he's a little older.
