Dark door, which hardware finish?

Our interior doors will be painted dark brown, but the trim will be white like the following:



In the picture above, I believe the hardware finish is satin nickel or pewter. DH wants satin nickel. Me, I'm not sure. At first I was thinking satin nickel. Now I'm questioning it. It may be better to have either dark bronze or black.

I would do satin nickel, something that will pop against the dark door.

Another vote here for the satin nickel. Black hardware would look really odd on a dark door. I love this look, btw!
