Central/Southern NJ. Two kids, 2 labs. I like reading, house projects, the beach, canoeing, hiking, and camping. I am never opposed to eating or drinking.
I'm in Portland. hamster, it sucks that you're in Eugene and I'm up here. I do get to Eugene half a dozen times or so per year for work, though
ETA: I'm early 40s and child-free, which is probably a huge part of my friend-making problem .
I'm fairly indoorsy, but do enjoy hiking and camping in the summer. H and I have strong nerd tendencies (amateur astronomy, the occasional geocaching hike, etc.)
I'm across the river. As long as you like to eat or enjoy good beer, I will be happy to leave my kids at home
I promise I'm not a kid-hater! I only mentioned the child-free business because as people become parents, they naturally gravitate toward other parents, and those of us who stay kid-free are...I dunno...a different species or something. I get why it happens, it's just hard sometimes.
I'd love to meet up! Beer and food are some of my favorite things
I a little west of Kansas City. I think I have a lurker in my town, I'd love to have coffee if you send me a pm! I like reading, food, drinks, country music and rodeo. I'm divorced and child free. Have two cats who are insane.
Ok ladies, PM me with your email address so we can start discussing dates. @charky rbpLmskitkatBAMFMrsB I hope I didn't forget to tag anyone else.
I joined a couple of GTGs way back in the day when I had a different name on [other site], but have not been very active. Would love to join you all! I think rbp can vouch for me I'll PM my info.
Sorry guys, I've been gone all morning doing "stuff"...so I like reading cooking and long walks on the beach..lol...but seriously ok...
I'm 40 child free...not so much by choice but likely forever and coming to terms with it. I live in Delaware. Philly is an option for a GTG for me, heck I could even do KoP, but it's a bit of a hike so for day to day hanging out, local is probably better.
Umm I like the outdoors, but I'm not outdoorsy, love sitting outside and doing stuff, reading, knitting, contemplating my navel. I'm not much of a drinker, but that's just me. I just never developed a taste for it, so I'd be a very content designated driver. Hobbies - LOVE food...hence the handle, love cooking and baking (and I don't mind saying, I'm pretty darn awesome at that), dabble a little in sewing, knitting and quilting. Trying to get out of the habit of plonking myself down in front of the TV in the evenings so I've downloaded a whole bunch of books that were on my "I should read that" list to my kindle last week and I'm trying to go through them. Also recently joined a gym. I have managed to lose 15 lbs since January. A feat I had heretofore thought impossible so I am now inspired.
