I've been looking for the perfect warm neutral color for our entire main living area and I think this may be it. Anyone use it? Do you love it? I've seen a few pics online and it really seems to vary depending on the light. I'd definitely pick up a sample to see how it looks in our space but I wanted to take the question to the experts too. TIA!
It's in the paint bio. I had it in my LR in 2006. It was very gold/yellow in my house. If you're looking for some shade of tan and think this might be a tan with yellow undertones, that's not an accurate description of this color - this is yellow with tan undertones.
Thanks. It does look pretty gold in those pics, and darker than I was hoping for. What I'd like is a buttery warm beige/tan that isn't band-aid-esque. Not sure why this so hard!
Check out SW Nomadic Desert. I would say this is fairly accurate on how it looks, but it seems to show a little bit more of a yellow undertone in my house:
I was going to go with Blonde, but when I tested it on my walls, it was darker and more gold than I wanted. I liked the tones though, so I went up a shade on the chip and used SW Ivoire instead. Sorry, I don't have a pic right now, but it's a really nice, warm, and subtle. I'm happy with it.
Thanks. I like how it looks in that picture but I think it's too dark and too brownish for what I'm after. I thought the same thing about Kilim Beige, which is a shade lighter on the same chip.
pinkeggs and bonita, I'll check out the ones you suggested! The perfect color is out there somewhere..
I know SW Ivoire is in the paint bio, or if it's not, google it. It's a really popular color. I think it might be too pale for what you're looking for, but I believe there's a color between Blonde and Ivoire that might work.
SW Macadamia's also in the paint bio (it was in my second house lol). I love it, but you'll need to check it out in your own house because I've heard from other nesties that it didn't look like this when they tried it.
