Instagram I have a multi collage with the dog - I was trying to take a picture of something else, she came and stuck her head on my shoulder when I was sitting on the floor. I have one with the cat - the cat was being cute, not me. One with DH from the below trip.
Facebook I have 3 or 4 from our trip, but they have DH in them. We didn't have anyone around to take a photo of us together. The app I have for that we need a fair amount of space between us.

I think I do like 1 per week because I like doing workout selfies for some reason (like on a hike or whatever, not from the gym.) But, it's really dependent on what the captions/etc. look like for me.
90 percent of what I post on Facebook is completely self centered. I don't really see selfies as being all that different. That said, I usually only post ones that also have my son or dog in them with me. I did post one last Halloween to show off my pirate costume.

I post them occasionally, when my hair is a new color or I have cute makeup. I try not to do it too often, and I don't mind others at all unless a) it's constant, same expression, nothing interesting in the pic or b) the person is already in bitch eating crackers territory.
I just checked my IG and I have 3 since I've been on ( 1.5 years?). None on FB, I'm awesomely bad at selfies and there are no amount of filters that can change that

I have been known to dive - flying through the air, sometimes landing awkwardly - out of the way of a picture being taken. I am not one to selfie, but this also doesn't make me one to judge.
Most of my selfies are with my kid or my DH. He is the king of selfies, I swear he cannot take a bad one. I on the other hand need to go to selfie school as I cannot ever take a good one, so I don't post them.
I used to post one maybe once a month and was told it was "not cool to post selfies after 13" and I have a "friend" who does it at least daily, maybe more.
I would say maybe 1 per month on either IG or FB.......one or the other, not on both. Definitely no overhead cleavage shots or duck faces, leave that to the idiot teens.
Shouldn't it be a good thing that you're happy, like the way you look, or are just having fun and want a picture? You have to have other people with you to make it ok to take a picture?
There's a line where posting selfies all the time starts to look foolish. I'm not exactly sure where that line is, but 2 of my FB friends have crossed it.
