We use Coppertone Kids SPF50 and decided on it from the EWG site a couple of years ago. It's cheap and isn't terribly bad (rated a 2).
My business partner just texted her hippy dippy sister in law, who also recommended this one According to my business partner..."she usually only uses products with no more than 2 ingredients, so it must be ok." LOL.
We use Banana Boat Naturals kids. I try to find zinc oxide ones. The green tube that is tear free sting free. My kids end up looking like ghosts but it eventually soaks in. I also find long sleeve rash guards and the longest swim trunks I can find. Which help alot.

Dammit. I just ordered $15 Badger sunscreen from Amazon before searching EWG and finding out that the Banana Boat Natural Reflect that I already use is a 3, so it's fine.
Oh well, we were low on sunscreen anyway. Although the Neutrogena I use for myself sucks, apparently.
