I'm kind of lucky in that our workplace has a dedicated mailroom and we all have personal mailboxes. Everyone here has all of their personal packages delivered to the office.
For the most part when the mail / UPS deliveries come around the guys are dropping off packages at our desks and everyone is good with it. We can also use the shipping center to mail back UPS and FedEx.

I used to do it all the time when I lived in a condo and there was nowhere secure for packages to be left. I didn't do a ton of on-line shopping then though, but no one cared. I don't do it anymore because I'm not worried about packages sitting out on my doorstep. But if I have something that needs to be signed for, I'll send it to work because I know I won't be home and then getting it is a pain.

I work for a college and I do at times. Our mail and residential staff and student mail also goes through the same processing so, that's how I justify in my mind lol. When the mail gets delivered its usually at least a cart full of Just Fab and Shoe Mint boxes, so we have some shopaholics on campus .
IF I worked somewhere else, I probably would not do.
I work at a university, and sometimes have packages shipped to work. However, I try to limit it to packages that are sent directly by UPS or FedEx so it does not go through the University mail room. Although I can't always tell if it will be transferred to USPS.
