I don't think the 6 is going to be released until September, so I would probably upgrade now if my phone wasn't working well. I'd definitely get the 5S.
I am on the fence, I want a new one because mine is cracked and if I take it out of the case it would most likely fall apart. Just keep it in the case and wait or new? Tough call. I am curious to see what others say.

I'm wondering the same thing. I don't have a iPhone but due to DH getting a raise we can upgrade to iPhone this week (our 2 yrs are up so eligible) but can't decide whether to wait it out or go ahead with the 5s. Leaning towards the 5s since we'd probably just get a 5c then once it is cheaper rather then pay for a 6.

my next phone is going to be the new htc One. i'm psyched.
My H just got that one, and he loves it. I've played around with it a bit too, and had I not wanted a really good camera (pretty much all I do on my phone is take pictures, FB, and instagram, so I got a Lumia 1020), I definitely would have gotten one too.

I upgraded from a galaxy S3, and got the galaxy S5. LOVE IT. It does all the things Get an android LOL
That does have good reviews. I am so indecisive. I need to go into verizon and check them out
The camera is amazing! And it's waterproof (for 30 min in up to 6 ft)! I think the biggest thing that I like about android vs apple for phones is the versatility. My phone comes with 16GB of memory, but I can add an sd card to create up to 128GB of memory. And when that's all full (tons of pictures and video, it's NEVER happened!), you can just pop out the the sd card and put in a new one. The battery is replaceable, too.

H is all excited about the HTC One M8, so I think that's what we'll get when it comes out when we get around to it (apparently it's already out). Camera is apparently very good (that's important to me too).

I got a new 5S yesterday, and I'm psyched. I was trying to hold out for the 6, but my 4S wasn't going to make it to Sept. I've dropped it so many times it had to go.
I'm in the same boat. I want to hold out for the iPhone 6 but I just don't want to wait that long. I'm considering switching to a Galaxy but I'm kind of scared.
I read an article that explained how smart phone innovation has slowed down dramatically. Most of the new features that come out are gimmicky. I would not wait until September for an upgrade if my phone was acting up.
Someone mentioned how they weren't sure why anyone even had iPhones anymore. It's because they are dependable and they just work. They might not have a million flashy features (that most people don't use) but they have features that make sense. I went from the iPhone 4s to the galaxy 4 and now to the iPhone 5s. There are so many things that are better on the iPhone, and I really only miss one or two features on the android.
Just one example is taking and sending videos. I love to share videos of my kids with my husband. I want to be able to take the video and text it to him. Not possible on the galaxy. Even if I remembered to change my settings before taking the video it was never a small enough file size to text. On the iPhone I can take a minute long video and text it to him. The iPhone automatically compresses the file and sends it. It's that simple. Things like that are the reason iPhones are still so popular.
I'm holding out for the new iphone. I have a 4s. It is fine. My upgrade is available at the beginning of July (well, it was available at the beginning of the year but my H used it since I was waiting). Why not wait and see what comes out if you can? It'll be fun to be state of the art for 7 minutes lol.
I would get the 5S unless you hate the screen size. That's going to be the major upgrade on the 6, but the 6 won't be out for months so I personally would not wait.
I had a 4 and just got a 5s and it's like a whole new world.
Worth it.
Same. The battery on my 4 was so shot, there's no way I could have held out much longer and it was running slower and slower with every update. I like my 5s.
The one thing I hate about my iPhone is that I can't update the software because I don't have enough memory because I have too many pictures. Every time I want to take a picture I have to go delete like 10 old ones. I am lazy and have not uploaded them
I just told our phone contract lady to send me a Galaxy!
