Don't feel bad!! If you can't cry at a memorial/funeral- where can you?? I had an instance where I cried really hard and almost couldn't stop at my then bf (now dh)'s great aunts funeral. I wasn't even that close to her. She reminded me if my gram and I think it reminded me of her and that someday it would be her. Also, her husband was so sweet at the memorial and they were the little old couple that always held hands etc. anyhow, I felt embarrassed ab my reaction, but this thread has actually made me feel better about it.

Oh and I have been know to bite my tongue to stop crying or look at small details like patterns on curtains or counting things to get my mind off of things. Also, sit on an end in the back - you can always excuse yourself for the sit down portion.
