My youngest nephew has told my sister on many occasions that before he was born he was up in heaven with Jesus and her Grandmoms. He has also told my aunt her (deceased) father lives in her house. Kids are so creepy sometimes!

My 3yr old DD told me that 'There's a war coming'... and for a while there she would talk about nothing but 'Bobby Dee'... whatever/whoever that is.
Kids are weird and come up with weird crap. Unless you got pregnant on or shortly after a boat trip I wouldn't be too worried about it. She could be picking it up from kids at school or tv - who knows.

Have you ever seen the Shirley Temple movie The Blue Bird? Your story reminds me of that - there is a segment of the movie where a bunch of unborn children are waiting in this cloudy, Technicolored land, waiting to sail off in a ship and be born.
I think you can make what you want out of innocent comments. My 3yo says things like "a long time ago, when I was a mommy" which I find hilarious. I was telling some people at work and my boss was like "wow, that's amazing, I have always believed in reincarnation and that is kind of proof, no? I think we forget about our previous lives as we age". Ooookay, lol

My oldest is a preemie and when she was 2 or 3 (too young to really understand the circumstances surrounding her birth) she told me that when she was in my belly she was too cramped and didn't feel good so she kicked her way out. Which is basically what happened - my placenta was failing and we kept expecting me to have an emergency c/s when my placenta failed/abrupted but instead I went into labor and after we saw the placenta and cord we realized just how very lucky she was because the whole thing was a mess. It definitely freaked me out, but I also used to have premonitions when I was young and would know things about people's pasts that I could have never really known. I don't totally discount it
I mean that when I did the math to when she was conceived, it was during the summer and we could have been on a boat. So, it's a possibility!!
if you had to do the math to figure out that you may have been on a boat during that summer, chances are this wasn't the time Jesus and your pre-kid chose you as her new family.
