Jane and John are mutual friends of H and I. They dated about 3-ish years and recently broke up. John gave us a baby gift - no card - though I know Jane actually picked it out and John paid for it.

I asked for her address via text the other day and said thanks for the gifts, we love them, etc. She responded by saying you're welcome but that we should thank john since she just picked them out. She didn't give me her address either.

What do I do? Just send a thank you to john? Or push her for address too?
