It's a Wordpress blog. It was suspended, not deleted, so that means that it was in violation of their ToS -- I would guess the part about not violating the privacy of third parties.
So their lawyer was wrong in allowing them to name J? Shocking that.
"Not gonna lie; I kind of keep expecting you to post one day that you threw down on someone who clearly had no idea that today was NOT THEIR DAY." ~dontcallmeshirley
I am so entertained that this woman's cash cow has been taken from her. She had years of posts on there. I wonder if she'll be able to rebuild it and her "brand."
If the blog was really taken down because it was harassing to Jaide, then going on Facebook to say that Jaide hacked the blog isn't going to do them any favors.
Someone on the facebook page has asked where the blog went.
I'll be curious to see what happens to her Twitter and Facebook pages next.
Sadly, I don't think we'll ever know the real story because the only person to tell it is Jaide, and it sounds like her family is a lot smarter than this one, and knows to shut up.
I haven't been able to check in all day. This latest development makes me happy. :-) I wonder if this is related to the post Jaide's mom made the other day about "watch this shit". She works at a law group, so maybe she got some lawyers of her own involved. We need to get a hold of that reporter and ask for a follow up story!

I actually feel bad about this, but C'MON! We all called it on day 1 that posting that shit on her blog was a very bad move. I hope she had all the files backed up somewhere.

Yup. I mean, I'm sorry that the blog is gone because family probably depends on that income.
But before she posted it, the police had told her that it was her kid!
And any person with three brain cells could watch that video of those girls and realize what is going on.
She is frankly lucky that more vigilantes did not try to take the matter into their own hands and track down Jaide and her family and cause more damage than she already did. She really risked psychologically or physically injuring a 12 year old girl by turning her parenting advice blog into a crusade against a false enemy, and the fact that it is down means this girl is safer tonight.
If the blogging income is the only thing she loses out of this, she should consider herself lucky.
I just had to post the latest so she didn't get more blog hits. I am a Christian from a family of Christians but this raises my hackles. No, calling out a 12 year old child is not doing God's will. Bullying a child and calling her out on the internet is not doing God's work.
My good friend Marti articulated wonderfully some of our feelings through our recent trials. I couldn’t have expressed any of this better myself, and I’m so happy she agreed to let me share these thoughts with y’all.
In church on Sunday, I had a lot of thoughts coming to me based on the message through scripture.
Through all of this mess, although we have been fearful of others causing them harm, we have never felt that our girls were at risk of harming themselves,. A friend kept calling me worried about the girls. She was afraid they were going to do something to themselves. She became even more concerned after hearing of another friend’s daughter who had been cyber-bullied and decided she had no hope but to kill herself.
Upon hearing that news ourselves, it became even more apparent that we feel our calling has been to help other kids that are being victimized by cyber-bullies and other predators.
Our families were chosen to serve Him and do his Will. He sees His other children hurting and has allowed us to endure this burden so we can feel the same pains of others, especially those who are not believers in Him and don’t reach to Him in time of crisis. They have no hope and end their lives. But, He knew we would turn to Him. He knew our girls would turn to Him. We are His faithful servants and should give thanks instead of asking why.
So, our FB cyberbullies page may have initially been setup to help us and get the harassment and threats to end. And so far it is working – we have had an outreach of prayer and support. But, going forward, we feel our page will be used to allow for other kids to start posting their stories, so they, too, may ask for help and prayer. Only God knows how it could be used to possibly help prevent these kids from killing and harming themselves. They need a place to speak out, too.
Our girls have had a connection since the first day of school - The first time Mel saw Julia she knew they would be best friends; they had almost every class together; they both had the same backpack; they both had never attended a public school before; they both were the only girl in their families; they both loved skateboarding; they both were well liked in school. God chose them for a reason to serve His purpose together. To have them do His work.
Doing so in Jesus’ name is making the devil angry. But, we have hope in our calling.
Joshua had a new job to lead more than 2 million people into a strange land and conquer it. For Joshua to succeed he had to be strong and courageous, because the task ahead would not be easy.
We must constantly read and study God’s Word, so we can obey Him. We may not succeed by the world’s standards, but we will be a success in God’s eyes and His opinion is most important.
Every new job is a challenge. Without God it can be frightening, especially as Satan and his minions are fighting hard against us. But, we know that by asking God to direct us, and trusting in His promises of peace and protection, we can conquer many challenges.
God promises that He will never abandon us or fail to help us.
These Sunday Go To Meeting Christians really get me riled. They really should read the ENTIRE book, not select sections, and apply as intended and proscribed, not as willfully interpreted. Because it sounds to me like she's listening to the whispering on the wrong ear when she's posting about a child, calling her out and causing others to threaten harm. Even if "I don't condone it" she is in actuality perpetuating the wrongdoing herself. I don't think it's us or the police that she should be considering as Satan's minions, but she should look a little closer to home.

I completely agree. There's a difference between being righteous and being self-righteous.
It was this post that makes me seriously believe they're going to work on a book deal. I wouldn't be surprised at all if that's where this leads.
I have to revisit this after the latest FB post. Anyone else see it? Wonder what she means that they're still being targeted. And why is it suddenly in their best interest to keep everything as private as possible when just a couple of weeks ago they were being advised by a lawyer to put a 12-year old girl on blast and play everything out in the media?

I bet this is them laying the groundwork for this to die off without any fuss because she realized her kid/friend aren't being bullied after all but can't admit she was duped. So just vague mentions of being "threatened" despite no actual posts on social media.
I'm guessing the authorities (or J's family's lawyer) have confronted them with evidence that the girls are behind it and that's the "attacking" they're talking about.
I haven't looked. I wonder if they're getting sued.
Because I am ridiculous, I ran a couple docket searches in the two counties where I think they might live. Nothing came up listing them as plaintiffs or defendants, but it's possible that if the cases were against the minors, they might not be listed. Or that a lawsuit has been threatened, but nothing actually filed yet.
Also interesting - if you google KVUE (the station that aired the story), and cyberbullying, the link comes up, but I get an error message.
Meanwhile, both of those girls have new Twitter accounts. Wonder if the crack team of mom detectives have figured that out yet. They have an extreme obsession with these Vine boys. Saying they are in love with them, tweeting to them over and over. Is that the modern day equivalent of doodling someone's name in your notebook or something?
