So I was in need of a new base coat, because the Rimmel London one I've had for ages is finally running low.
I decided to get the Orly Bonder everyone raves about, and in less than 24 hours, my polish was peeling. Like hard core peeling in big chunks on 8 nails. This never happens to me, and the base coat is the only thing different that I used. They should call it Orly Doesn't Bonder.
Any other base coats out there that actually work?
different things work for different people depending on nail chemistry. I'm not *that* big a fan of Orly Bonder. it's okay but there's others that work better for me.
I am currently using China Glaze Strong Adhesion base coat with good results. the best on me is CND Stickey, I just don't like the blue tint.
My sister loves the butter London base coat. I want to buy that next after my Orly is done.
I should check out this one. I loved Orly, but recently bought a new bottle and my nails have been chipping like crazy. I wonder if they changed the formula. I noticed it didn't seem as tacky as it used to when dry. You know how much I love Butter London. I should get that and the new color I want through Zappos since Ulta has been an epic fail on the BL front lately.
Seche vite. I got some a couple weeks ago after my ulta was out of orly. This stuff rocks. My polish lasts 7-9 days. So much better. I use seche vite top cost to and Zoya or ulta polishes
Bimbi, I'd be happy to send you mine. PM your mailing address if you are interested.
So you mean you'd swap your Zoya Anchor for my Orly Doesn't Bonder?
I actually just bought a new bottle of the Bonder so I don't need one. I'll just send the Zoya to you. I can even throw in a couple of polishes that I don't use that often.
