I figured I'd finally stop lurking and introduce myself. DH and I have been married for about a year and a half and live in NW Indiana with one pretty cute pup. I love coming here for inspiration and good fashion/beauty finds! Hi everyone!
I had just found "the nest" when everyone headed over this way. I've been meaning to start posting, not sure why I haven't yet. I guess today I was feeling bold

Yay! Glad you came out of hiding! Looking forward to seeing you around more

Welcome!!
Another south Louisiana girl - about an hour south of Baton Rouge - though I am moving to Atlanta in a month. Not looking forward to leaving all the food and seasonings down here.

Hi Karebear304 and bluesecrets! Yeah, whenever I go back to visit I stock up on all of the things I miss most. I seriously have 10 bags of PJ's coffee in my pantry ;D.

Our stash is mostly Blue Runner Beans and Tony's Jambalaya mix. We can get Zatarains's jambalaya here, but not Tony's, which I prefer. I also stock up on the Zapp's cajun crawtaters.
My H is now hooked on a shrimp po-boy from a place near my parent's house and he keeps ordereing them here and being disappointed. When we go home in September he's already requested that to be his first stop.

Welcome! Love the pupper!
I always wonder how all the knotties who transfer over to the nest are going to be able to find us or if they're just going to end up "rebuilding" the boards and dynamic over there.
I actually found Tony's here in Trinidad! We always stock up on community coffee.
We can get the seasoning, no problem. It's just the jambalaya that we can't find.
I can't stomach the Zatarain's after an unfortunate incident in college when I didn't know what the heck I was doing when it came to cooking. I didn't mix the spices up well and ate a chunk of it. I shudder thinking about that!
