I didn't buy leggings but did get some light compression ankle socks that were designed for post pregnancy I think. All I remember is that the light compression didn't seem to be doing much at all - they sort just felt like quality fitting sock, kwim? I might get into something in my 3rd tri for my feet and I'll definitely be going up a level or two.
Did he recommend a level of compression for your needs?
Ditto ringstrue - you need to know what level of compression your doc is recommending before you know what to buy.
Mine actually wrote me an RX (so I could use my fsa card) and sent me to a medical supply store where they measured my ankle/calf. That measurement along with the level of compression on the RX allowed them to show me a couple options. I ended up going with a footed pair and while they're not super comfortable and can be hot, they do help esp when I'm traveling.

What?! These are so cute! The only ones I could find last time were super terrible. I don't know why, but the white ones all had black stamps on them with the level of compression, etc. And the stamps were just put on willy-nilly, so they could be on the top of the foot.
