Want to weigh in on nursery decor?

I've been eyeing these curtains for about 3 weeks now. I think I'm ready to just buy them. What do you think?

My imaginary girl nursery had that blue and coral as accent colors. I'm not a huge fan of yellow and I agree with PP that I couldn't do that plus a yellow wall. It's not BAD, just nms. Those curtains and accent colors in a mostly neutral room I would be all over, though.

Hmmm, for those that wouldn't do a yellow wall, what would you do?

For reference, I was thinking Philadelphia cream by benjamin moore

Love the curtains...maybe with a pale pink or turquoise wall?

I agree that yellow walls would be a lot of yellow. With those curtains I'd do white walls, or off-white. Plus make sure you hang those curtains higher than the picture shows, it bugs me when you can see window trim above the top of the curtains!

Very pretty! I agree with pp's about the yellow walls. I would probably do gray, but I am not a great decorator, fwiw.

I would do more of a cream wall or something light. Yellow would be too much. Then you can do a lot of color accents.

I agree. I really dislike yellow though. We did blue walls in DD's room and I love it.

This was right after we painted. The picture doesn't really show it right- the color in real life is much lighter and more pastel. It even has a hint of purple in it in certain lights. This looks pretty "boy blue" but I swear it's better in person.

Pretty! I agree it might be a lot of yellow with the walls, andnsecond a more neutral color.

I like them and think they could work well with a light blue or cream colored walls.

I've always loved girls rooms that are light blue though.

Yes to the curtains, no to yellow walls. I'd pull the blue from the curtains and paint the walls that color.

I think they're really pretty. Just be aware that they'll let in a lot of light, even if you have blinds. Our nursery has yellow curtains and it's very light in there for naps.

I think they're really pretty. Just be aware that they'll let in a lot of light, even if you have blinds. Our nursery has yellow curtains and it's very light in there for naps.

They are actually black out panels. But even so there are already blackrout blinds installed in the windows, so it gets very dark in there already when I close them.

Love the curtains, I agree thought that yellow walls would be a bit much. Maybe aqua or cream for the walls?

Super cute! I also wouldn't do yellow walls, just because I think that would be too much yellow. Walls in one of the accent colours would be awesome, though.

I love those, but my walls are also a pale yellow.  And since I'm going to have pale grey and white furniture, I would be pleased as punch with those curtains in a girl's room.
