No idea about when it's appropriate to move on to WCM, but did you try the Gerber brand? I hear that breastfed babies take best to that type when they are picky. You could ask your pediatrician for a sample. Good luck!

My supply really tanked around 10.5-11 months or so. We supplemented bottles from the freezer stash until 11.5 months and then did 1/2 pumped bm-1/2 WCM from 11.5-12 months.

Like, you mixed the bm and wcm together? Or offered some bottles with bm and some with wcm?
I would offer WCM. Doctors usually suggest a transition between 11 and 12 months. Since he's still nursing and getting milk from your stash, I'd have no issue with this.

I think it's fine to start WCM but you could always run it by your Pedi.
If you wanted to try to ramp things up, you could try renting a hospital pump ($) and seeing if you got any more milk that way. I responded to the hospital pump better than my double electric. Then the old tricks of water, more protein, oatmeal, lactation cookies, mother's milk tea, supplements, etc.
When DS was biting me while nursing at 11 months, my pedi said it was fine to switch to WCM once I ran through my small BM stash. I'm sorry your supply is dwindling But you did an AWESOME job making it to 11 months! Congrats!
I'd also switch to WCM. Doctors usually draw a hard and fast in eat 12 months for WCM because they don't want parents switching at 6 months because it's so much cheaper than formula. I would think even your pediatrician would OK WCM at 11+ months. Call if it makes you feel better.
Congrats on making it 11 months! That's a big accomplishment!
I would continue to pump as much as you can and send that, and nurse as usual. Then either do WCM if he'll take it and/or a balanced diet of solid foods to make up the rest. In the next couple weeks, I'd probably try to cut out 1 bottle in favor of something like yogurt so you can stretch your stash out longer, too.

Thanks
I'm still planning to nurse morning and night for the foreseeable future, but I just can't keep up with his daytime needs.
Yup I saw that in your OP. It's awesome that you made it to 11 months BFing, regardless of how many sessions you're doing. You've done such a great job, and all the BM you've given him so far and will give in the future is wonderful.
