Looks like we're having another healthy boy! I'm over the moon at the thought of brothers, and quite glad I don't have to pick through all the clothes I saved to evaluate their gender neutrality.
DH is a little disappointed, but I think it's because he's been confidently declaring to everyone we know for months that we were definitely having a girl. Now he has to eat a little crow! ;-) I'm sure he'll bounce back to excitement before too long.
Everything with the baby looked great except they mentioned my placenta's placement was low, so I'll need another u/s at 30 weeks to check that it's moved. Now to deal with the inevitable "Will you be trying for a girl next?" comments.
I really want a boy for this one since I think brothers would be so much fun, but theres a part of me that wants a girl just so that if we do have a third, I dont have to hear "are you trying for a girl" lol. (and when I say "I really want" i mean its basically a slight preference. I go back and forth. lol.)
I have two boys (22 months apart), and they're EXHAUSTING but wonderful! They play so well together (most of the time) and are non-stop. And, hand-me-downs!
I'm an old mama and even 2+ years after having my DS2, I still get the 'are you going to try for a girl?' as if a matched pair is necessary. Blegh.
