What kind of chair do you have/plan to put in nursery? Rocker, glider, recliner, chair with ottoman, etc.
If you already have used it are you happy with your purchase?
I had planned to get a rocker with ottoman but didn't want to spend a ton. Most of what I see have bad reviews online though. I'm wondering especially with me having twins if I need something wider. I guess my biggest debate is do I want something where I can put my feet up or not. To me it seems like a yes, but I know some people have just a chair in the nursery that doesn't move or have a foot rest and it seems uncomfortable.
We have an armchair style glider and plush ottoman. I sit in that darn thing for hours every day and am constantly grateful that we spent the money to get something nice and comfy.

We got a rocker with an ottoman. The rocker has a conversion kit that will turn it into a regular armchair later if we want (PBK wingback rocker). It was the major splurge of our nursery, but it's so comfortable. I definitely wanted the ottoman for the option of putting my feet up, plus it provides additional/alternate seating for the room.
I can honestly say I did not spend much time rocking in the nursery. I had a old rocking chair in there. I got a super nice oversized recliner (that also rocks) for the living room and used this most of the time. To me if you get a chair it should be something you can use again in another room and just get the best you can afford.
We have had second hand gliders with foot stools both times. Loved them. First one we bought off Craigslist for $50 sold for the same when we moved overseas. Second one my friend gave me, we're still using with our 15 month old and I'll donate it once we're done with it for the third.
Personally, I don't want to invest in 'rest of my life' priced furniture that is a rocker or even a recliner (not my style).
ETA: I had DH move our glider around in the first few months so it was in whatever room I needed it in. It is pretty lightweight and our home is one level so not a big deal to move it out to living room for the day and then move to our room or nursery for the evening.
You do need something wider :-) Best glider in the world. Pretty, comfy, stain resistant, and my girls and i still fit on it together (they're almost 4). Storytime Series Best Chair glider Comes in a ton of colors and fabrics. Trust me on this!

Did you get the foot rest too? I've thought about a glider like that.

Yep. It is so freaking comfortable. It's still my favorite chair in the house. It's also really inexpensive compared to other chairs. I really recommend the ottoman.
Puffy rocker with ottoman. I love it, but wish I had gotten a glider instead - seems easier to use. My parents bought the chair (PBK) as a big baby present, and we bought the ottoman.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

I have a classic oak rocking chair. My baby has been home 2.5 weeks and I've used it once. MH has used it 3x or so. I think that is because I have a twin bed in there, though, so that's where I usually nurse (side lying).
We have a glider/rocker with a foot stool that rocks too. My aunt and uncle passed it down to us when my aunt was cleaning out their nursery (their girls are 13 and 10 now). It's really nice and comfortable, but I'm sure it was pricey.
We got the Best Tryp chair at Buy Buy Baby. It is a rocker and recliner. I wanted the recliner so I could potentially doze in there if I need/want to. It's super comfy and because it's a recliner, you don't need more floor space for a ottoman.
We didn't have one the first time around bc it wouldn't fit in our apartment at the time. It's the one thing we wanted this time around since now we have the room. MIL just last week sent us the PBK Charleston rocker. It's very comfy.
We got a Rocker Recliner - like a pp mentioned, I wanted something that could be used in another room in the house eventually and I personally really like recliners. I figured since my H and I would be the ones sitting in it the most that we should like it, and it should be comfortable for us to sit/lay in
We ordered an upholstered little castle glider and ottoman from BBB. We used coupons, and it ended up being very reasonable. I wanted something with padded arms and a back high enough to support my head.
It won't come in until next month, so I can't report on its comfort or utility

We got a super cheap glider with ottoman off amazon. I think it was around $160. It's worked well enough for us. It also had terrible reviews, mostly about how hard it was to assemble. It was not - at all - difficult to assemble, so I don't know what the issue was. We were dumb and got yellow fabric, which shows every spit up stain ever. I've thrown the cushions in the wash a couple of times, but it's honestly so cheap I don't want to risk destroying them. But other than the color issue, I've loved having a glider. My parents have a rocking chair we use when we visit, and the darn thing always seems to back up into a wall as I rock.
I NEVER use the ottoman. If you have to pay extra for that, I'd forego it.
My boss gave me a rocker that had been in his family since he was a baby. We'll use that in the nursery. If I spend a lot of time rocking, we might splurge on an upholstered rocker, but, for now, I'm really hoping to get a more comfortable couch.
