DD's right ear is…funny…it sticks out a bit, enough that when her head rolls that way her ear folds - which I think it contributing to it sticking out...
Other than keeping her in a hat 24/7, do I care? do something?

Her head might be just a bit flattened on one side, which could make her ears a bit asymmetrical. If that's the case, it will probably resolve itself as the head rounds out with time. You can alternate which end of the crib you put her head toward during sleeping, make sure you're doing regular tummy time, etc., and maybe you'll see a difference by the time she has her 2 month appointment. Slight flattening of the head can be hard to see, so have your pedi examine her head closely. DD had a pretty significant "crookedness", which actually affected her ear placement, but we didn't notice because we didn't look straight down at the top of her head. We did some intentional positioning and some stretches for a mild torticollis, and her head completely rounded out in just a couple of months. Now her ears are even .
