I underestimated how hard it would be to leave dd

We are headed to Vegas this weekend for a wedding. It's the first time we've both left dd for more than one night. It's upsetting me more than I anticipated!

I'm nervous bc she's still nursing and doesn't sleep well if she doesn't nurse before bed. She's also teething though it seems that 2 of the canines popped through, so hopefully the top pop through soon.

Gah, I miss my baby and I'm not even at the airport yet, lol.

I'm dreading this so much! DD is down to nursing only in the morning; but is so relict to give it up. And we leave I. A few weeks.

I was the same way our first trip away. I had my mom text lots of photos and updates which helped me feel more comfortable. Enjoy your weekend away!

The fun part about kid free vacations now is that you're just as excited to come home and see your kid as you were to leave them behind.

I left my DS for the first time last weekend, and I expected it to be a breeze, but I was so emotional! It was only for one night and I felt like I didn't really relax until it was time to come home. Enjoy as much as possible!

Aww, have fun! Driving away and the first night was the hardest for me. Do you have facetime? The kids loved that when we were away. DD2 was still nursing at that point too, but she went right down for Grandma.
