So, I'm winding down on pumping. I definitely will have no trouble making this last week. I might pump once or twice a day for a few more weeks, just to help with the adjustment, as I haven't even started him on whole milk yet.
I have a free canister of formula that we've only ever used about 4 oz out of (and he drank them just fine). Would you just give it to him in place of whole milk first, then transition to whole milk? Or should I be nice and give it to a friend? Thanks. I know this is random.

It is only good a month after opening but otherwise yes go ahead. I used up what we had so it was 2 weeks past her birthday. If it is older then no throw it out.

Yeah I didn't realize that right away but we never had any open that long either. I guess I am glad it doesn't have enough preservative or whatever to last forever.
