Dang it! If I'm up for even 10 mins my lower back starts to hurt. Nevermind that I have stuff to do. Once I can sit and rest it's fine but it just comes right back.
Anyone deal with this and able to find something that allows them on their feet longer? I'm not even in the 3rd tri yet!!!
I had my first yoga session last week, it seemed to help my back a lot. Those stretches and relaxation seemed to work some sort of magic. It didn't help my groin pain though.
I have had a few bouts of this, but find yoga and daily stretching to help a lot, as well as using a lumbar pillow at work. A heating pad or bath also help.
I have lower back pain pregnant or not, but the things that help most for me are stretching my IT bands (you can google some stretches if you don't know how)and either going barefoot or wearing supportive shoes -- walking in shoes without arch support makes my back pain much worse.
