Critique these outfits for my trip PIP

Ok, we'll be there four nights, five days. I'll probably wear swimsuits and coverups during the day but may need to be dressed for lunch some days. Click on pics for enlarged ones.

First night there's a BBQ and outdoor movie. I was thinking this casual maxi dress.


Another night is a cocktail party at our hotel for hotel guests and anyone else on the island. They say casual attire, so I'm having trouble deciding on this. Would this be appropriate? Minus the hat probably.

Or this?


Another night we'll probably dine at a bar there, and I'm thinking of wearing this


So what do you think? Too many maxi dresses? Should I pack any of these dresses?


Ok sorry for all the pics. I guess I'm asking - which ones looks the best on me haha! I have room to pack several (or all) of the above, and I do like to have choices. But maybe y'all can help me out before I get there! Thanks

I like all the maxis you've posted. If it were me, I'd probably pack the coral dress too just in case you end up going somewhere a little nicer.

This. I'd pack that one for sure, and maybe another short one to mix it up.

Agree with Jenni, the maxis are all fabulous but just in case you feel like going with something a little shorter\sexier I would pack the coral dress as well. It would work great for a cocktail dress. I like your column dress but I think the sleeves might just be a tad too long.
And when you get back, I need to know when I can come and raid your closet! Jealous!

I think they are all perfect and agree with PP about the coral dress and I might actually pack the one with the blue bottom too. I lived in maxi dresses on vaca. So comfy.

I like the green maxi for first night and add in coral and the last white dress since it can be worn more casually during the day if needed

Ditto this. I would not bring the anthro dress (the long sleeves made me sweat just thinking about wearing that on any island, haha).

I would maybe trade out one of the maxis for one of the short dresses.

Ok I think I'll leave out the column dress and one of the short white ones, and add in the embroidered navy short one from my second post.

Oh and here's a list of where the dresses are from, though some are old.
Gap outlet, Dillard's (Gianni bini), anthro, Gianni bini again, Anthro, anthro, soft joie, Jcrew, anthro. Next post is French connection and BR outlet.

I think you posted the navy embroidered for a wedding awhile ago, right? I would definitely bring that! Otherwise, I agree with the ladies suggestions, re: no column and yes coral. I would bring the romper too. You could pair for flat sandals for casual day or dress it up with heels/wedges for night

Yep, that's the one. I was thinking the same thing about the romper, it could be pretty versatile. I'll do the romper, that navy dress and the coral and several maxi dresses.

I would definitely bring the coral dress and I really love the green maxi. You can never have enough maxis.

I actually feel hot in maxi dresses sometimes so I would def mix it up and bring some short options. ALL SO CUTE! and they all look super cute on. The maxis fit you well! lucky.
