We started this about 5 weeks ago... it's been very time consuming, but I really like the result. I am not sure how to put mulitple PIP, so I will put one of the finished, and if you want, you can look at the rest on my blog. If anyone's considering doing this, just be aware it takes time, but it worth it (IMO).

Looks great! We are getting ready to start this project once Sherwin Williams has their paint sale on Friday:) Why did you decide to polyurethane it? Just to make it easier to keep clean? I haven't seen that on most of the sites I have been researching on.
Another blogger friend suggested it since that is what she did to hers. It is supposed to protect them from knicks and keep them easier to clean. I didn't want to do it at first (because I just wanted to be finished), but it only took one small can to do all of it, and I like that we have the extra protection on them. It does make them super shiny though, so if that's not really what you want, you shouldn't poly.

Gotcha. I like the thought of the protection but not the super shiny since the kitchen will already be pretty bright. Thanks and it really looks great! It is amazing what paint can do.
looks great! what type of poly did you use? the husband poly'ed the painted stairs they turned yellow.
disregard my inquiry just saw your list.
I looked up what kind to use, and the Minwax website said the blue-green can for paint, but on the actual can it says it may yellow. So far I haven't found anyone that says it has (from this can), but I guess it could over time.
Hi! Your kitchen looks great, the white cabinets make such a big difference! Love your curtains too. We're actually thinking about changing out our hardware to satin nickel.
