Last night I spent the night at Mr. K's house. Sometimes I sleep at my place and sometimes I sleep at his, so it isn't really consistent. Last night I woke up in the middle of the night and I freaked out. I mean really freaked out. I woke up, had no idea where I was and I looked over and saw a man in bed with me. I began thinking, "who in the hell is this man in bed with me, and what would Mr. K think!" After about 10 - 15 LONG seconds of going through this in my head, I realized (after looking at him) that I was at the BF house and it was obviously him in the bed. This is the first time it has happened, but it sure was weird! I seriously thought I was sleeping with another man. :-|
I told him what happened when we went to lunch today, he thought it was pretty normal because I go from sleeping at my place to his, to mine, in a tent (when we camp) etc...
WTF? Has this happened to anyone else before?
There have been times when I wake up confused, not knowing where I am, but never to this extent.

I woke up in the middle of the night once thinking that my arm had become some sort of separate zombie entity, and was pondering befriending it. Half-asleep people think weird things.

LOL!!! This happens to me all the time, because I sleep with my arms above my head and they run out of blood.

I woke up about two weeks ago screaming and tearing the bed apart because I thought there was a giant spider in it. I scared us both half to death. (there was no spider)
I've woken up before and had NO clue where I was or who DH was. NONE. I've also seen things, heard things, etc. it's just a part of being in a weird between wake and sleep state.

My cat jumps up on my bed constantly, but there are times when he wakes me and I'm so disoriented that I think it's a different cat or some wild animal - and he's been around 11 years! I'm not a really heavy sleeper either so it's funny that happens to me. I also wake up at BF's sometimes and am not sure where I am or think I see a person in the room.
Yep this happened to me when FI and I were living apart. We had two separate one bedroom apartments (same layout) at the same complex and I would spend 1/2 the week at his place and half the week alone at mine. One night I woke up at his place, was utterly confused and afraid and bolted back to my apartment in the middle of the night. I really didn't process the whole thing until the next day. FI was like, "Hey why did you leave in the middle of the night??"
