We are planning a summery picnic lunch for DD's party at the end of June. Party is from 12-2 pm with 25 people attending; no vegetarians or dietary restrictions. Thoughts? I don't have any appetizers planned since we usually eat right away at family functions, but can certainly add some if it feels like there isn't enough food.
Smoked pulled pork BBQ sauce (2 kinds - tomato and vinegar) for pork Buns Pasta salad Green salad Fresh fruit Kettle chips Veggie tray
I was thinking cole slaw too. Since you have the veggie tray I might just skip the green salad and do the slaw instead. The menu looks great as is though.

This is what I would do too. But otherwise the menu looks great, good job!
I agree with adding cole slaw and ditching the green salad. Will the kids eat pulled pork? Can you do some hot dogs or something just in case?
I don't think appetizers are necessary, especially since 12-2 is a pretty short window, and I think most people will show up ready to eat. You can always have the veggie tray and some chips out right away if you don't plan on serving food RIGHT at 12. Otherwise just have everything out and people can eat when they're ready.
