I think mine might have tried to imitate "oops" and "meow" earlier. AJ was playing at his leapfrog table and the phone fell on the floor so J said "Oops! Your phone fell." and the next thing out of AJ's mouth sounded exactly like "Oops!" Same with when he made the activity table meow. Both times J and I looked at each other with our mouths wide open and said "Did you HEAR that?!" at the same time. I know it's just imitation and not intentional...but shit, I'm going to have to start censoring my language aren't I? Fuuuuuuck.

While changing ds's diaper he squeezed his legs together and said " where penis?! " then giggled furiously and said " there is!!" While throwing open his legs....I about died laughing!

We always make up funny ways to say DS' name. Basically we play the name game, and now he has started to do it with our names. I love it because he came up with it all on his own and he totally figured out how to play, like he makes up rhymes. ADORABLE.
DS1 (6): "Mom, how do you go about growing those?" (pointing nonchalantly at my breasts) Me: "Uh, what do you mean?" DS1: "You know, how do to do it? What's the process?"
DS2 (3.5): "Actually, that's not precisely what you said." Huh, kid? Then again, he also copied DH like a little parrot saying "dang it" when DS3 tossed his breakfast plate off of his highchair this morning. There is something about kids swearing that is really hilarious to listen to.
DS3 (1.5): Doesn't say much yet, but he does make an elephant sound while using his arm like an elephant's trunk. It's pretty cute.
I was away for a couple of days so DH was putting DS1 to bed (typically, I handle DS1 while he does DS2). DS1 told DH "Mommy tries really hard, but she's not very good at putting on my blankets" Well then.
J: "Mama, what that noise?" Me: "It's the construction workers, bud. They're still building our building, so that's the banging." J: "So loud, mama. So rude." Me: "TELLMEAFUCKINGBOUTIT." J: "You loud, mama." Me: ::pours a beer::
Tonight... Me: "You ready for tub time, stinky guy?" J: "Big poops in butt." Me: "What?" J: "POOPS IN BUTT! BIG POOPS IN BUTT!" Me: ::pours a beer::

Obviously my 2 month old isn't talking yet but I have a cute thing my niece said. I was giving both my nieces a bath and asked the oldest (8) what their routine was. She told me after the bath, they put on "purple white" and then go to bed. Purple white? I asked what that meant. "Purple white. The lotion." It's the lavender J&J lotion in a purple and white bottle. So cute!!!
We got DD one of those ok-to-wake clocks the other week, and she's starting to figure it out. I woke up to DD yelling "MAMA, DADDY! Clock green! Wakey! Get up me! Mama, Daddy, me go adventure now!" In case you're wondering, our adventure today was to Costco.

H has had a word explosion lately. His new thing is when I am changing a stinky diaper to grab his noise and say pee-you!
Also he will be asking for something is a rather demanding voice, usually cheese, apple, something like that and you ask him what is the magic word, it will get all sweet and say 'please'.

Lol. DD likes to find DH and tell him it is green and then slow him. I can often hear her going "it's green, it's green" up and down the hallway.
We've been doing this thing in the car or when we go for walks occasionally where we make up a story, each person taking turns adding a sentence. Anyway, his transitions are just hilarious because he will make you think something exciting is coming, but no. For example:
THEN SUDDENLY! Cake* started reading a new book.
*This is the name he decided the boy in the story had. You can see he hasn't moved on much from Eyes being a favorite name.
I found this hysterically funny. Like burst out laughing.
DS isn't talking yet so I have nothing to add to this thread. But I love reading the responses!
This morning J pulled down my shirt, pointed to my nipple and said "baby eat!", later after I has been tandem nursing he looked down my shirt at both breasts and said "two babies eat!" I said yup, that's how the babies eat. His reply was "yeah, two babies eat milk"
DD (3.5) has a new teacher at preschool. Last week I tried to tickle her while she was playing and her response was, "hey! be respectful and kind while im focusing on my hard work!"
