I just booked the Sofitel in Mauritius, so that question is more from a curiosity standpoint.
I am struggling to book a hotel in Seychelles. We prefer suites so there is enough space for DD to be sleeping while we are awake, but I can't find one in the Seychelles that seems like a good value.
@sfgal350 - I love Four Seasons for the L'Occitane soap and lotion... Totally pays for the room. ::eye roll::
The Four Seasons looked nice, obviously, but the suites seemed outrageous for what they were. We are debating about Mahe versus other islands, but haven't taken a firm stance yet.
We also stayed at the Raffles on Praslin. I agree that staying on Praslin is a better option than Mahe. We liked Raffles overall, but we found the food to be stupid expensive for the quality. This might be the case all over though.
We stayed at Mango Lodge near Anse Volbert on Praslin and thought the rates were quite reasonable. There was a bit of space since it was a self-catering bungalow with a small kitchen, but it was a thatched hut with no AC, so probably not on par with the Four Seasons.

That sounds so cool! I don't think I want to do no AC though. We are headed there in part to escape the heat.
Still on the hunt for something awesome, but cheaper than the FS.
