A really really nice, perfect-on-paper nice guy, how did you know it was over? Specifically? Were you torn?

It was the hardest decisions and wasn't one taken lightly. We tried counseling and all that but we just weren't meant to be together. I was very torn about leaving this man that was a good guy and everyone thought we were perfect togehter. But I had to think of my happiness and future and I saw it going no where with him. And while it wasn't a piece of cake to be divorced and I was depressed for a little bit, once he moved out it was like a weight was lifted off me and I was able to. Death and be completely happy.
