Pretty sure this whole outfit is courtesy Contempo Casual!
and this one where I think I'm such a badass with my patchwork shorts and chain necklaces. Also, fun fact, my friend Laura in the pic just had a baby girl 3 hours ago!!!

OMGAH. You're so cute. I wish I had some middle school pics but they're all at my mom's. I was big into JNCO pants and peroxide in my hair. I was much less cute than bimbi.

Mine are at home. I had one of those HUGE madras jumpers with a green tee on for my 8th grade picture. I had a short curly bob and glasses, but it actaully didn't look awkward.
i had the hair sprayed bangs, shorts with the capri tights with lace on the bottom, crazy jewelry, tiny mini skirts, and sometimes silver lipstick with washable marker colored hair (!!!)
oh yes, i was definitely a fashion icon
i am unsure how my parents let me out of the house!
Nah, not the whole time. We broke up for a while and got back together in high school. I dumped him bc I was bored and be hated me for a while. Apparently I was the bitch that broke his heart. Oops!

DUDE! I had the JNCOs too!!
I wish I had pics. This was totally me. My pants were so big they looked horrid but I loved them. I also went from red to pink hair quite frequently. My style icon was Gwen Stefani. I made my boyfriend take me to all the No Doubt concerts.

I don't have any pics.. they are all at my mom's home in CT and should be in a pile to be burned!
Goodness... me in middle school was NOT cute. I had glasses (that were not cute) and I loved Contempo for all those polyester shirts, and I rocked a lot of LEI and Mudd jeans, Airwalks, Jnco jeans, ball chain necklaces, big 70's flower necklaces... I was all over the place but I thought I looked super cool. I also used to raid not my mom's but my dad's closet and would wear his jeans and rip holes in them (much to his dismay) and wear his flannel shirts. He couldn't believe his teenage daughter wanted to wear his clothes! Oh and I had a few pairs of overalls that I wore with one of the buckles undone so it would hang...
Haha I love seeing these! I don't have any middle school pics, but I found this one.
I'm probably about 3 or 4, wearing my own design. This is when I knew I had that "fashion passion" in me! HA Also I think maybe I just woke from a nap...

I think we're 7th style twinsies! Seriously, this was me. All of it. I definitely went through a flannel/grunge phase. And I had like 4 pairs of airwalks!

LOL me too! Except I did the girliest possible version of all of this, lol. Like, my JNCOs HAD to have a super cute design on the butt pocket, not something super grungy or punk. All my airwalks were fun colors like blue, or had some sort of sparkly design on them (some things never change), and I did flannel and button ups over graphic tees but a little less grungy and more fitted than most girls...thus making me stick out like a sore thumb, but I loved it!
True story, one of my favorite button ups that I still wear to this day was purchased when I was in 7th grade for $5 at a Ragstock. Its kind og western looking, but its light blue with pearl snap buttons, and is made of some crazy fabric that pretty much never stains or wrinkles.
Does anyone remember I.O.U? Omg, these were THE shirts to have!
I specifically remember having a light purple T-shirt with black stripes, and a white sweatshirt with purple/pink/blue writing.
I also remember the brand Used. I had an outfit that was like, patchwork capri leggings with red/blue/yellow/green patches and a white shirt with some of the same patchwork on it, to match.
And let's not forget the braces and a dreaded perm!
I'm sorry I missed being on the board yesterday what a great thread. I don't have many scanned/digital photos from middle school on my computer. My dad first got computer and internet when I was in 7th grade, and we got a digital camera when I was in 8th grade. These are so bad.. I was such a beanpole!
