Hi all - what do you think is a good continental US national park to visit in mid-November? We are looking for a place with temperatures preferably in the 60s-70s (during the day) and we really enjoy hiking.
We went to Joshua Tree in April and it was similar temps. On their website, daytime temps in Nov are 70's, lows 40's. It was a really interesting park!

Does the National Park have to have hiking? If not you can check out Cabrillo National Monument in San Diego and then spend a few days hiking all of the various trails in San Diego County.
We did Crater Lake in late October and it was great... almost no one there and just a little snow plowed on the sides of the roads. The only down side is the lodge isn't open and the boat to Wizard Island wasn't running.
Big Bend also looks really awesome and NPS says fall and spring are warm and pleasant.
