We haven't even done the meet and greet with the new dog to see if she'll be a good fit and we've already had our first hater with breed prejudices.
Ugh. Fuck them.
I'm so excited about my new patio and I just want to buy new decorations and furniture for it. But I have no monies because of said new patio. Womp Womp.

I redirected the vents in our office so that they blow less in my direction and more in my co-worker's direction. It only took me six months of using a space heater to think of this.

I am in the middle of a huge student loan debacle in which I thought they would be forgiven after 120 payments via the gov't. I learned today that all of the payments I had made do not qualify, and even if I started today with qualifying payments, I would re-pay the loan in full before it would be forgiven. I have never felt more duped in my life. So now I have wasted $$$ on interest when I should have just been paying them down. I did not bc I thought they'd be forgiven.

Please tell me more about this and why they didn't qualify!
hahahaaha bc they weren't enough $$$$!! I think the whole point of the program is to get you to pay off your loan under the guise that it will be forgiven, but they structure the payments so that you pay it off yourself. Which would be OK if they didn't market it as for-effing-giveness.

Yay for the new pup, Ala!
Random: the Waze app has saved me a major traffic-headache at least twice in the past couple of weeks during rush hour. It seems to be very accurate with detecting the traffic flow, location of accidents, and advising where the cops are hiding out, so it's become my most useful app since traffic is such an issue around here.

Are you also finding soccer balls? Mine has some game going on right now with the world cup and you get points for driving over soccer balls that are on the map.

I did not sign up for that, I was worried about getting extra notifications that would distract me, and I really only want to see where the cops and accidents are. I did see that, though. (I think you can cancel out of it, but I don't see the balls since I didn't agree to the game, haha)
I have to stay an hour and a half late so I can go to a meeting, then I am meeting MH to look at a rental property that's for sale. I don't want to do either. I want to go home and snuggle up on the couch and watch movies.

Even though Jay is my husband and should do husbandly things, I feel bad asking him to pick me up from the airport when I get back. It's about an hour and 20 minutes away. I was going to go back to my moms (30 minutes away) get my car and drive home (an hour and 10 minutes) from there. I won't get home until 11:30pm in that case.
If it was a weekend I wouldn't feel so bad, but it'll be a Tuesday night and I hate to put people out. So, I haven't asked him yet because even though I'd do it, I'd HATE having to do it.

We were planning on taking our old bed to my parents' house this weekend to replace the hard, full size bed they have for us to sleep on. But my mom called last minute and pretty much just said no. It's her house, so I can't argue (plus I don't want to get into it.) BUT the bright side is that we have decided to donate it to one of two families who lost their homes and all of their possessions to fires last night. Even if we're just giving away stuff that we have no room for, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
