Pull down "commercial" style is what I'm looking for. Eventually we will remodel the whole kitchen but for now I've lived with and hated this one for 2 yrs:
Honestly, the main thing I hate about it is that to switch between spray and stream requires 2 hands, one to hold the faucet and one to manually twist the rubber spout that switches from the spray to stream function. It's super awkward and inefficient.
ETA I like that I can vary the pressure of the water but to keep it on the high pressure setting, I have to lock the handle with that little latch at the base of it. I don't know I feel about that since I've never used anything else.
FYI the other side of the sink is a dedicated filtered water spout, which I toy with the idea of replacing with dedicated hot water spout. Bad idea? Can I get filtered water from the main faucet? We don't have filtered water from our fridge.
ETA 2 : another one question, if I get one with the control paddle built in to the faucet, what do I do with the hole that the current paddle is now? Soap dispenser?
Laura Palmer, is there anything you don't like about it? Can you pull it down pretty far if need be?
When you say "pretty far", do you mean to the base of the sink? I'll be honest that we don't do that too often, but it definitely feels like it would loosen up over time. There are some videos of it on build.com, if I remember correctly.
It swivels 360 degrees nicely and I can use it one-handed.

Maybe not all the way to the base of the sink but I have a giant single sink and I use my hose to spray down the sink when I'm done with dishes. So I just want to make sure it can reach. I'll look for the video on my computer, I looked at the link on the mobile site originally.
