I am wearing some new flats, and the back of my heel rubbed me raw and I didn’t realize I’m bleeding (so gross, I know). I have a band aid on it now, but the inside of the (nude) flats are kind of bloodied. Does anyone know how I can clean the blood out so it doesn’t look so gross when you look inside my shoe?

Thanks ladies- I'll try the water/soap and the cold water/salt methods and let you know. The exterior is patent leather, but the interior is regular (light) leather so it's pretty obvious. ICK.
"Would you excuse me? I cut my foot before and my shoe is filling up with blood."
I freaking love you for quoting Romy & Michele. I was able to use that line in college once when I injured my foot and my shoe was in fact filling up with blood.
OP, I'd see what plain water can do. Depending on material maybe some hydrogen peroxide would help.
