My 8-week-old still can't support her own head (obviously, I guess. I admit I don't know when they start being able to do that). When she falls asleep in her carseat, her head falls sideways and it looks really uncomfortable. Is this a problem and what do I do about it? I have tried rolling muslin blankets into a "u" shape but they always get dislodged after a little while. I read somewhere that the after-market head supports for carseats are not necessarily safe. Does anyone have any suggestions, or should I just not worry about it?
I have the same issue with my 9 week old. Honestly, I've just been letting her head stay where it is. If someone happens to be sitting next to her, I may have them put it more upright, but I figure if she's sleeping through it, it must not be bothering her too much.

I have the same thought process, but people keep commenting on it so it makes me wonder if I should be doing something else. Glad I'm not alone.
Two rolled receiving blankets on either side of her head as opposed to over her head should do the trick. Also, check the recline setting of the seat to make sure it is reclined enough, the chest clip is positioned over her nipples and the straps are coming from below her shoulders and are tight.
