We went to the club Thursday night and had fun. Friday we went out to eat and lounged around the house. Saturday we went to visit my mom, she is fostering a mama dog and four Coonhound/Great Dane mix puppies. They are pretty much exactly what we've been looking for in a dog so we turned in our application to get one when they're old enough to be adopted (2.5 weeks old right now). Sunday we filled up the little tiny pool, did some grocery shopping, mostly lounged around some more.
I started off the weekend with drinks with the girls than Friday I laid out by the pool and then watched Fireworks at the mall parking lot with family! It rained a little so they started fireworks early, I only wish I could have taken pics but it was rainy and I couldn't pull my camera out.
Saturday I went shopping and got a cute dress at Old Navy!

The weekend was good! Friday we had some people over, BBQ'd and then trekked up a hill to watch local fireworks.
Saturday, I went to brunch with my bff and his fiance (my H was supposed to come, but someone was a little hungover!). Then when I came home, we went to my parents house, hung out with them for awhile, and picked up the rest of the stuff from the shower.
Sunday, we got some stuff done around the house, went to the pool, and then caught up with his dad and his dad's gf.
ETA: best eats- I made a cake on Friday that used pineapple instead of water in the batter, and it was subtle, yet really tasty!
Took Thursday off; I took a pole class and lounged around all day, then met G and friends at a bar, then went back to our friends' house.
Friday G and I went to a state park with a beach during the day, then BIl & SIL met us for a fancy dinner out. Met up with friends who have a rooftop deck on the waterfront to watch the fireworks-- at one point we could see 8 shows at once!
Saturday we drove down to the IL's house on the shore for a BBQ and spent the night there.
Yesterday the G and the ILs all went fishing but since I get seasick I stayed home with a 2year old. Luckily he slept most of the time and is a really chill baby anyway. Lounged around the rest of the day and then drove home (across the Bay Bridge along with every other person on the East Coast) and didn't get home till midnight. I'm sleepy!

Thursday we went to see Cirque Du Doleil- then drove straight to the Cape and stayed up for a bit with BIL and SIL.
Friday was raining, so we met the inlaws and other BIL and SIL for a very late lunch then back to the parents. The girls went swimming in the outdoor pool, in the rain and then went to the indoor pool. Back to BIL and SIL to hang out.
Saturday - Hit the beach and had such a fun time. Then we went back to the inlaws for dinner and Cake. At about 10:30pm I drove home to beat the Cape traffic. Which is a very good thing!
Sunday I slept in, lounged wit coffee for a bit and then did some chores. I organized my changing room, cleaned the kitchen, wash and waxed my car, weeded half the driveyway cracks and went grocery shopping. Followed by a tasty adult beverage and my kindle. It felt good to be home!
It was really nice. The weather was pretty perfect on the 4th and decent Saturday and Sunday too. We grilled out twice, went biking, went to a museum, and enjoyed a lot of cocktails on our deck. Best thing I ate was bread pudding from my favorite Italian restaurant.
I worked all Friday in the garden, and H grilled dinner for us. Then I picked up some sandals from the Rack.
Saturday morning, I went shopping for dress accessories. We attended an outdoor wedding late that afternoon, and the weather was perfect! The rest of the wedding was really nice, the food was excellent and atmosphere was fun.
Yesterday we attended a small family dinner. Then I worked in the garden for over an hour to move some plants, when I saw the forecast for storms today.

Weekend was amazing!! We left Thursday night to fly to San Francisco...when MH and I got to baggage claim my parents and sister were there!! It was a surprise for my birthday next week!! I was so shocked and happy to see them! I hadn't seen my parents since Christmas and have been really homesick lately so it was great. They flew home with us yesterday and are staying the week.
Other than that we did lots of win tasting in Napa Valley, enjoyed the sunny weather, and saw some nice fireworks. It was a wonderful weekend!
It was freaking awesome!!!! Thursday we had dinner with 2 other couples and it was so fun! I had a delicious rose sangria with tons of fresh fruit.
I ran the Firecracker 4 miler with two girlfriends and we kicked ass! We also had a really fun time and it was a reasonable temperature this year. We immediately hit the bar at 10:35am and continued to sit there for a few hours. Mint Margarita...nuff said! We headed to Jerry's brothers for a bbq after and it was so nice to see everyone.
Saturday we went to the pool in the park with friends. I forgot to eat, so I ended up leaving around 3pm because I was a little wasted and feeling weird. We napped and then I rallied!
Sunday was a lazy day running errands and stuff. Jer has a man cold, so I nursed him back to health most of the day.

Friday we moved into our house. Went better than I thought it would, I don't have too much left in my apt, and we got settled in.
Saturday we both went to work aaaaand our dog ate the wall. And door. This is not an exaggeration and I will attach a lovely picture. Was supposed to be a happy day, as I was celebrating 6 months sober and we got an ice cream cake. We just spent the night cutting drywall and such as well.
Yesterday we did most of the repairs, majority of our unpacking, some shopping.. and I got a cute cactus!

I was PISSED. It is the same pup and we're assuming separation anxiety, she's always been sort of an anxious girl. She has NEVER been this destructive though! She's going to the vet this afternoon to yolk about help for anxiety and check out the tooth and toenail she lost in the ordeal.

Beach-house weekend was nice, and we had fun with our friends. The beach itself could use a little help, there was a shitton of seaweed but the part we went to at least didn't smell that bad and had some sandy patches that were cleared out. But hey, my lower body got a free exfoliation from being in the water with the seaweed, so I guess that's a little bonus!?
Weather was great, food was awesome (stuffed flounder w/ blue crap topping was my favorite) and luckily we beat most of the traffic heading home yesterday. Plus we made it to the pier in time to see the whole fireworks show.

6 months!? Wow, that's amazing and awesome!
Sorry about the dog destruction, that is never a fun surprise.

Aw that's awesome!
Weekend was good. Friday we cleaned, the rest of the weekend was spent relaxing. My nephew is here staying with my parents so I went and visited him. He is 2, and was very well behaved. I was impressed. Today I came to Montana to get some shopping done and get my key fobs reprogrammed.
My mom made her potato salad yesterday and it was so good! Mmm, can't wait tiger home and have some more

Thursday evening: attended a play with some coworkers and ran into an old coworker/friend and caught up a little bit.
Friday: Painted the front door. It was exhausting and it's not perfect, but it turned out so good! Showered and got ready to have people over. It was a pretty chill evening. Minus the 2.5 year old running around and screaming. Watched the fireworks from our front yard and everybody left.
Saturday: said farewell to BIL who had been staying with us since Wednesday. Had lunch with the friend I ran into at the play. I think we had a pretty good time catching up. It's kind of weird because she had a huge thing for H back in the day, and when he and I got together, she and I didn't really talk much anymore. I like her. She's a cool chick, but I don't know how she felt about the lunch. She's awkward as it is, so she's hard to read. When I got back home, H and I did everything in our power to not pass out on the couch, and we ended up going to see Transformers.
Sunday: It was my birthday, so I let H spoil me. H treated me to Starbucks and a massive cinnamon roll for breakfast. We got ready and went to a nearby town for sushi rolls and Hibachi for lunch. We mosied through Lowes, dreamed and bought a few things. H treated me to ice cream and we headed home. We rented a couple of movies and I made him watch Pitch Perfect with me.
Monday: I was a big lazy bum. We get a paid day off for our birthday, so I took advantage of that. I did actually do some laundry and browsed Hastings for some books.
Best food: I discovered how amazing the shrimp is at the Hibachi place! And H's jalapeno poppers were delicious as always.
