It smells so earthy and fresh. I have a feeling Keihl's isn't a non animal testing company but I'm too scared to check because if it is I'll be crushed.
You're in luck - they don't test, and they don't pay others to test! :-)
They are listed as testing company on my cruelty cutter app. I also feel like I have googled before and they did animal testing (or sold in china that does the testing.) eta: after a quick google it seems to be a parent company issue (l'oreal.)

"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
I have been wanting to try this, but someone told it it burned her hush-hush, and I don't want a burned hush-hush.
Currently, I'm using the Target version of the Dove exfoliating body wash. I like how it smells. I like the amount of lather. And I like that it's about $3.50 for a giant bottle.
I'm obsessed with Lush products. I went on Monday and got a bar of the Sultana soap (the summer berry version, which I'm not finding on the website, but I assume the regular kind is similar) and randomly felt my arms this morning and surprise, it cleared up my keratosis. I also like the Honey, I Washed the Kids for dry skin in the winter and Sexy Peel for summer.
Their shampoo bars are insane too but that's another topic altogether. I could go on and on about their stuff.
I love Ivory soap (body wash). It's the scent, it smells CLEAN! And it's not too expensive.
I've noticed it does dry my skin out a little, so I have to lotion more. There is a version with Aloe, but it doesn't smell the same.
I don't use the body wash, but I was my face every night with Ivory. It is the best for my skin, though you do need a lot of moisturizer after. I have been using it since I was a baby, love it! I do feel so clean.
As for body wash, I mostly use Dove.
Yes! It leaves you feeling SO clean! That's a big thing!

i looove their shampoo bars. i have been traveling a lot and they are perfect. if you want a better alternative for storing them (the round ones anyway) the medium gotubbs by humangear are great.

Trader Joes Tea Tree Tingle. It's cheap, smells great in the shower (but doesn't linger on my skin afterwards), doesn't dry out my extremely sensitive skin, organic.

It's also awesome in a cold shower after a really hot day.
