I switched from liquid soap to triple milled French bar soap last year. It doesn't dry my skin like regular soaps, lasts forever, and doesn't create as much plastic waste. Win-win.
My BFF makes homemade soap and gives me a bunch every year for Christmas, plus my mom and MIL know I like lavender soap, so I always get a bunch of bars of fancy soaps. I usually use that in the shower.
Last year for Christmas my MIL gave me a few bars of Aveda rosemary mint and that was soooooo nice.
Dial Clean and Refresh Antibacterial Lavender and Twilight Jasmine Body Wash
I like that it's antibacterial (I workout a lot so think sweaty icky gym clothes) and the scent is nice but doesn't really linger. I feel clean, but it doesn't dry my skin out.
Trader Joes Tea Tree Tingle. It's cheap, smells great in the shower (but doesn't linger on my skin afterwards), doesn't dry out my extremely sensitive skin, organic.
It's also awesome in a cold shower after a really hot day.
I use Irish spring for my soap because I love the way it smells. Then I just cover it up with body wash and different lotions for different parts of my body.
Irish Spring with Aloe. It puts me in a good mood as soon as I smell it!

Aveda has personal blend body wash with essential oil of your choosing. I usually do a citrus mint blend. I really like it a lot and get it about twice a year for free with coupons.
Doesn't Body Shop have all their scents in a bar too?
I don't know. We don't have one close by. I ordered some soaps from chagrin valley, and between my husband's birch box and my pop sugar box, we end up not buying a lot of soap.

Shea Moisture's African Black Soap.
There's no reasonable explanation, but it smells like home to me. It's the only soap I've used where the scent lingers throughout the day too. It's really helped clear my skin up too. I'm a big fan.
And the company that makes it is pretty fantastical. I love supporting them over the bigger, more questionable companies.

Yeah, I don't have one close by, so I stock up during sales and get free shipping at 50. I probably won't have to buy any soap or shower gel for a long time. Lol. I do like their bar soaps too.
I'm obsessed with Lush products. I went on Monday and got a bar of the Sultana soap (the summer berry version, which I'm not finding on the website, but I assume the regular kind is similar) and randomly felt my arms this morning and surprise, it cleared up my keratosis. I also like the Honey, I Washed the Kids for dry skin in the winter and Sexy Peel for summer.
Their shampoo bars are insane too but that's another topic altogether. I could go on and on about their stuff.
I use, I think it's called Coal Face as my face wash and I love, love, love it. My skin has seen a huge improvement with its use. I also really like their face masks.
I also tried their sea salt body scrub, but I'm too cheap to make that a regular buy.
Body Shop Satsuma. I've used it on and off since high school. It smells fresh and sweet without overpowering any fragrance I want to wear, while still smelling good on its own. It makes tons of bubbles. Plus it's orange, best color ever!
This gets my vote too! Body Shop has been doing $10 for $20 Groupons 1-2x per year recently, so I stock up then!

I started using the moisture retaining shampoo and conditioner and absolutely love it for my super thin and dry/breakage-prone hair. I actually think it was a post here that made me decide to try it.
I have been wanting to try this, but someone told it it burned her hush-hush, and I don't want a burned hush-hush.
Currently, I'm using the Target version of the Dove exfoliating body wash. I like how it smells. I like the amount of lather. And I like that it's about $3.50 for a giant bottle.
It's peppermint so if you get up in there it'll tingle but not burn. Although if I have a cut (aka my eaten up cuticles) it sometimes burns. It's nothing that would deter me from using it though and you can always start with the bar soap which is gentler.
Black Current Vanilla Sensual from B&BW. It's delicious. I layer with the same lotion, it's so yummy - and cleansing. I don't use it on my face though; I'm a noxzema girl through and through.
