So. I've been looking up suit separates and I like the idea of skirts. However, I am plus size and carry my weight in my stomach, I feel like maybe skirts aren't such a good option then? OR is it just a matter of people know I am fat, so dress it the best I can and don't worry about it?
Secondly, wear stockings right? Black or nude?
What kind of skirt? Pencil? Flared? Straight? Doesn't matter? Below the knee, correct?
Is a black sturdy dress appropriate? I stalked their website a bit and the women are wearing printed dresses with cardigans. So follow the rule of look at what they are wearing and try to go one or two notches above for the interview?
I've been searching some of our local stores; JCP, The Bon Ton, Boscov's.
I guess I am going out later today, Friday, in search of interview clothing. I'll need it no matter what, so I may as well. Thank you @beagle for you offer though!
I know this seems sort of "duh" but it's been 2 years since I've interviewed for anything and I may slightly have an obsession with dress clothing.
I have a saggy gut, so I like skirt suits. If you pick one with a firm elastic or button band, it contains the tummy and give you a curve between the boobs and hips. Get a straight skirt, no A line or pencil. Get a jacket that hits above your hips. Stockings yes in nude. Pick a nice muted shell and a grey skirt and jacket, it being summer and all.
ETA:
I like this except for the heels. Good luck for the interview, Tricky!!
