If you have a regular kitchen/dining table (I just have a bar table, so I don't), consider the type you strap to a chair. It has a tray but then basically becomes a booster when the kid can eat directly off the table.
We have the Graco SimpleSwitch and really like it. We use it as a regular high chair most of the time at home, but it's so convenient to pop the legs off and uses it as a booster for traveling.

Fisher price healthy care booster, if you have a spare chair to use. Easy to clean and much smaller footprint than a high chair. Plus it's only about $25.

We have the Fisher Price space saver and it's fine. I don't think it bothers DD, but I feel like it would more comfortable if her feet weren't dangling. For this reason I'm considering a regular high chair with a foot rest.
- On the deck: Ikea Antelop (used to be inside at the table)
- Attached to the table: Chico Caddy Hook On Chair (love having him right at the table)
- On kitchen island: Phil & Teds Lobster (won't fit on our dining table, travel/restaurant usage, too)
- At the grandparent's: Fisher Price Space Saver (don't like how it is semi-reclined even at it's most upright position, which is why we sent it to their house)
We have the FP Space Saver and like it. One of the reclined positions was great when DS was too young to sit up because he could still be at the table with is while we ate. He's 2 now, and still sits in it - occasionally we use it as a booster, but usually still as a high chair. And it doesn't seen reclined at all to me now - he sits straight up in it with no recline.
We have the Ikea antilop for home and a fp space saver one for at other pols houses. Although the antilop is just as easy to bring with us (the legs come off super easy) and I don't have to worry about an extra chair for her high chair to sit on.

With dd I bought an expensive Graco one. It was nice and padded but really hard to clean. Then I bought a travel fisher price one that sits on a chair. I loved that one for both home and for going out. She later used it as a booster. With ds I just bought the ikea blue one. I love love it. Super cute and super easy to clean. The tray part is also at a good level for him to easily ear at b
We have the stokke Tripp trapp which was a gift and I love for older kids but we bought the ikea antilop recently and it's all dd uses atm (she's almost 9 months)
Fisher Price EZ Clean - Everything on it - including the straps - easily wipes clean, and I love how secure she is in it. Also liking the adjustable height and various reclining positions.

Another vote for the FP Space Saver. We don't have room for a full high chair and it's been great. We're still using as a booster at the kitchen island since ours is high top tall.

Stay away from Chicco Poly! We had one for DD1, and I hated it with the fire of a thousand suns! So hard to clean.
For DD2, we have a five year old Graco Contempo that a friend gave me, and I adore it. So much easier to clean.
My MIL has a cheapie Fisher Price one, and it works quite well.
I have one of the Space Saver ones too, and I don't care for it as an everyday highchair. I like being able to wheel her all over the kitchen. She starts eating while I'm still cooking, so I set her over by the stove, then wheel her over to the table later. I also wheel her over to the sink to clean her up after she's done. With a space saver chair attached tomato regular chair, I can't do that as easily. It also takes up a whole chair that we sometimes need for someone else to sit in.
Huh. I was just coming in to recommend the Chicco Polly. Haha. We've had it for 6.5 years. It is very sturdy, folds up to the wall/ out of the way, and I've found it easy to clean.
