If you went past your due date, how far past did you go? And did you go into labor on your own or were you induced? I'm 40w 5d today and I'm over it. I expected to go late with my first because it ran in our families, but DS actually arrived 3 weeks early (for no apparent reason). So this time I thought I would go early too - hahahaha - joke's on me! My doctor offered to induce me today but the hospital did not have any room so now it is looking like next week. Just wondering how late others went and if you needed to be induced or if they eventually came on their own.
40 weeks and 5 days but my Dr. induced me. The practice I go to won't let you go past 41 weeks and it was a Friday so they pushed for it. I was over being pregnant and really just needed some pitocin to get things started. Good luck!

I was scheduled to be induced at 41 weeks, 4 days but ended up having an emergency c/section at 41 weeks, 2 days. I hope you don't have to wait much longer!
I am convinced I'd still be pregnant if I didn't induce just due to my anatomy (tipped ute plus high cervix makes it hard for the baby to drop and put pressure on it). I'm planning to go overdue again this time.
My personal rule was that I'd go to 41 weeks and then induce. Per my OB, not much good happens after 41 weeks, but a lot of bad can. I picked 41w1d because I liked the two OBs that would be on call in my office best!

41 weeks 3 days.. at 41 weeks 2 days i had an ultrasoound to check fluid levels and prepare for induction... found out baby out flipped breech, c section schedule for the next day
I went to 42 weeks with my 2nd. And she still had to be evicted.
Sorry, that's not a good anecdote for you right now.
Hang in there!
This was me. I was either 41w6d (lmp) or 42w1d (charting and early dating u/s). I still had to be induced. I'm scared to get pregnant again. My mom went 13 and then 15 days overdue with her two kids. That last week is the worst. Funny story though. I went to get a pedi at 41w and the girl said she was all nervous when she saw a pregnant lady walking in. It was always fun saying that I was due a week+ ago when people asked. She tried to hit all the pressure points so I'd go into labor. It didn't work.

My water broke at 40w2d and I had her 29 hours later. That did not jump start my labor though so I was still induced starting about 5 hours after water breaking. Hang in there being overdue sucks!

My mom had all 4 of us late, with me being the latest at 2.5 weeks late. Apparently her doc really let her go long. Also, we were all big babies and so was my husband (all in the 9 and 10 lb area) so I'm getting a little afraid of this one's size.

Yeah, dd was 9lb7oz, so she was getting up there. Labor wasn't horrible besides having to get pitocin and then the epidural not working. It was only about 9 hours from when they started pit until she was born and only about 30 minutes of pushing once they broke my water to get her out. No horrendous tears or anything, so hopefully your experience won't be too bad either even if it is late.

I went into labor on my own in the evening at 40w3d with DD, and she was born early the next morning. My OB won't let me go past 41w.
I'm 39w today, and my dr is on vacation next week, so she's sure I'll go on time, but if not, she said I can be induced on the 30th, which is her on call day in the hospital, and 40w6d. The first time, I was very anti-induction. This time, I feel like, "please get the bebe out before he weighs 15lbs."
