We had some time to kill so we stopped in the Disney Store and they just got in Elsa dresses. Woo hoo!! Except, they were only in size 7/8 which is WAY too big for DD. Whomp whomp. BTW this totally proves that I have fallen for Disney's tactics b/c I never would have spent $50 on this dress if they were easy to get. #sucker
Amytime.I read threads about Frozen stuff all I think is I have TWO girls the same size and how will I ever deal with this type of nonsense?!?
See this is why I do no screen time. My kid will never ask for character stuff lol.
well kari, here is the truly pathetic part. Although DD would love an Elsa dress she isn't pushing for one and will be fine without it. I'm the one (and now DH too) who was excited about the dress which is solely because they are hard to find. When they wre first released and many available I thought they were pretty but couldn't imagine paying $50 for it.

ha ha. That is bad, but I get it. It is a challenge now!

It shits glitter everywhere.(Worse then any other dress we've had/have). One of the other non-Disney versions might save your house from glitter overload!
Disney said they are hoping to have all stores (and their website) fully stocked by the end of this month or sometime in August. Hopefully they follow through!

Ha wait until he is older. He will absolutely know from daycare/school. DD knows stuff from all sorts of movies and shows I know she's never seen with me.

We were at Target in the pouch aisle, and E pointed to the Earth's Best pouches with Sesame Street characters on them and said, "Ernie!" He has never seen Sesame Street, and there are no TVs at daycare. I have no idea where he picked it up.

Oh they don't watch tv at daycare. I meant from talking to the other kids.

Oh yeah, I assumed you meant from other kids. I was just saying that even at less than two years old, it happens somehow.
So I had convinced myself that by the time DD's August birthday rolled around that Disney would have their shit together regarding Frozen stuff. Still?! This crap is STILL out of stock and hard to come by? Wtf!
Too bad the cute Little Dress Up Shop ones are on backorder in her size till past her birthday too. Gah. Here's hoping they can get it in the stores in the next month or else she'll just get it for Christmas.
