Long story short, DD, who has gone to bed fairly easy since 5 months old, has decided to freak the hell out anytime its time for naps and bedtime. It started slowly about 4 weeks ago and is now a full on temper tantrum each time we try to put her down. We pretty much have to stay in the room rubbing her belly or gentle touching her so she knows we're there for her to go to sleep. Otherwise she stands up yelling and crying until we go in there. She'll go on for an hour otherwise. It's happened multiple times. Neither of us know what to do at this point, she has never been like this before. Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated.
Ha, thanks @this Glad to hear it came to an end for you.
dulcemariamar No we didn't really sleep train, she feel asleep on her own pretty easily for bedtimes and naps worked out one way or another. He maybe tried for a week when she was a lot younger but I don't remember.

C has the same bday as your LO and we have been having major sleep regression issues. He goes to sleep just fine but is now getting up 1-3 times a night (which he has not done in months) and will.not.go.back.to.sleep unless he is touching us! The Pedi said it was a combination of his memory developing and separation anxiety and that we will just have to ride it out.
Blargh! He has slept threw the night a grand total of 3 nights in the last month!
