Thanks! how long did you keep giving Mila incentives for going on the potty? I would like to not have a sugar- doped kid eventually!
HA! She has tapered down the asking. She now asks for "one candy" maybe 2-3 times a day. I can live with 2-3 m&m per day. Pooping has been scary for her so we are actually still doing small incentives for that. We bought a pack of bubble guppy undies and doled them out one at a time, got a stuffed My Little Pony, a Frozen plate, Elsa and Anna socks from the target dollar bin.

Wow - great job everyone! This thread is so encouraging. I spoke to W's teacher and she suggested I wait going all out for a few weeks because there will be some major teacher/classmate/room changes starting in about 10 days. She did suggest to continue encouraging it at home.
Could someone send me a copy of the book as well?
Also, what are you using outside the house? Regular underwear? Training pants?
We gave up last night. It was making A really weird and naughty. She was angry with me and becoming sad every time she went potty even if she made it to the toilet.

We used regular undies, which is why we waited almost a week to go anywhere. We go everywhere in regular undies now.
The exception was when she was a flower girl. I did not have a back up dress if she peed on it. I put her in a pull up (we call them sleep underwear). She kept it dry and still asked to go on the potty to pee but I didn't have the stress of waiting to see if she'd pee in the dress or walking down the aisle.
