So Tuesday is going to be an exceptionally long day. I have a domestic flight to JFK, a few hours of layover, and then an overnight flight to Germany. Total travel time is absolutely forever. I want to be comfortable but not sloppy. And I'll have a nursing 10 month old with me. What should I wear?
Nursing tank is a given. Leggings with a button down? What shoes? I know I'm overthinking this.

When I flew to Australia (23 hours travel time in total), I wore yoga pants, a long tank and a cardi. For shoes I wore flip flops but brought socks for the plane.

My standard outfit for flying while nursing is:
Leggings (also easy to master using the loo while wearing your child) Nursing top button down or top that buttons in the necessary section comfy slip on shoes
I'm going to have an exceptionally long travel day to Australia tomorrow (eek!). My plan is yoga pants (or possibly leggings), nursing tank and a hoodie (not LLL, but similar type of thing). For shoes, I was going to wear a cute pair of sneakers and comfy socks. I care more about comfort than looks and I'll often change into jeans/put on makeup in the bathroom right before we land (I'm not sure if I'm even going to bother this time though!). I ditch the shoes on the plane and only put them on to go to the bathroom. I also usually bring extra socks to change into through the flight because I'm kind of weird about wanting fresh socks all the time.
Ditto PPs - leggings, nursing tank and zip up hoodie or cardigan. Layers are the best so you can easily adjust based on temperature and I love my hoodie that has zip pockets so that small things are easily accessible. I prefer sneakers to sandals so I have some support for doing walks in the airport, then I usually just slip off once I'm in my seat.

I'm all about comfy clothes on the plane...nothing with bulky seams or lots of embellishment/zippers/buttons or other things that can chafe, etc. Absolutely a light sweater or blanket in my bag for if/when I get chilly.
The one thing I don't do is wear easy on/easy off shoes. I get the reasoning, but I wear my sneakers b/c they're my bulkiest shoes and take up the most room in the suitcase. Plus they're a lot more comfortable for me in terms of walking around airports and such. I definitely want socks on for when I have to take my shoes off at security so other than my sneakers that leaves some of my less comfy walking shoes as options (and I tend not to bring those on vacation anyway).
My anxiety is skyrocketing and this is how it's manifesting lol.
I'm the same way I flew last week for the first time with babe and I obsessed about my outfit too. I ended up with leggings, nursing tank, baggy-ish tshirt, cardigan, and flats. it was perfect.

I would actually wear my most comfy pair of jeans. I like having pockets, because it's much easier to grab my cell phone or wallet than when I have to dig for it in my purse. But I really don't like leggings and I feel like yoga pants are pajamas.
