Parents of climbers, reformed climbers (is that possible?)

Brought to you by the fact that I found my 18mo old DD2 halfway up our wood backyard fence today. I didn't even know this was possible.

Does it get better/easier? When? I love her like crazy, but she is wearing us out!

I have a 2 year old climber. It isn't easier yet. I have to believe it eventually gets better, but I have a friend whose teenage son got arrested climbing buildings, so maybe it doesn't (not what you wanted to hear).

Yes they eventually develop more impulse control. Around 3-3.5.

Well...it gets better in that they get more skilled, so you worry about them less Seriously though, my 4 year old now knows she is not allowed to climb things like furniture, but I've started to let her climb trees, climb up the sides of play structures, etc, as she has gained more ability. Ohh, and she loves indoor climbing walls - She's really good at it.
