Did you hear about the guy that wore his contacts for months and an amoeba burrowed into his eye? That was months and they were dailies. I just put my glasses on my head for photos.
WTF? Are you drunk?
And I wore mine for both c/s. One was an emergency and one was scheduled.
I never ask. It seems kind of fucked up to make someone take them out. You know, since most people need them to see and most people want to see their baby when it's born. You should be fine.
My one C-section regret is that I didn't wear contacts so I couldn't see for sure if my baby had hair or not. (She did.)
They only brought her close to me so I could see her for less than 1 minute before whisking here away for further testing. Would've been so nice to see her clearly while she was hanging out in the corner getting cleaned up and chillin'.

Look it up. Acanthamoeba The article is in the province. I was just joking here since she would have them on for 24-48hours. But it did happen
So you made the jump from wearing them for what is generally a relatively short surgery to wearing them for months and getting herself into a situation like that guy? I'm pretty sure that she can take them out when she gets to her room. I don't doubt some idiot wore his contacts and got himself into that situation. What I do doubt is your reasoning when you make such a leap to someone facing what is often an anxiety-inducing situation. Then again, I doubt your ability to think on the regular, so....

Did you read my original post?. It was obvious that I was stretching in a joking manner when I added.....'that was months and they were dailies' I assumed the OP had half a brain to not get all riled up and anxious. And figure she would not be giving birth for months. OP, I guess TOTS thinks you are stupid. FYI.

Umm, it wasn't obvious, it seemed like you were stretching to try to make the OP nervous about wearing contacts for her surgery. Don't make TOTS the asshole here.
